Blind Dating

Terms of Service

Effective date: May 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Blind Dating mobile application ("the app"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. Please read them before you sign up.

If you don't agree with these Terms, you should not use the app.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Blind Dating. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

Blind Dating is not available to people who have been previously banned from the app or who are prohibited from using it under applicable law.

2. Your Account

When you create an account, you agree to:

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We are not liable for any loss or harm resulting from your failure to keep your credentials secure.

3. Acceptable Use

Blind Dating is built around respectful, genuine connection. When using the app, you agree not to:

We reserve the right to determine what constitutes a violation of these rules. Violations can result in immediate account suspension or termination.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Blind Dating offers optional paid access passes:

These are non-renewing purchases — they do not automatically charge you again when they expire. You will never be surprised by a recurring charge.

All purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) through their respective in-app purchase systems. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at the time of purchase. Prices may vary by region based on App Store or Play Store currency conversion.

Refund policy: We do not process refunds directly. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their own policies. Please contact Apple Support or Google Play Support for refund inquiries.

We use RevenueCat to verify subscription status. RevenueCat does not store your payment card details.

5. Content You Post

You own the content you post on Blind Dating, including your photos, bio, and messages. By posting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and deliver that content within the app solely to provide the service.

You are responsible for the content you post. You agree not to post anything that infringes on someone else's intellectual property rights, violates their privacy, or violates applicable law.

6. Intellectual Property

Everything else in the app — the design, code, algorithms, branding, and user experience — is owned by Blind Dating or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the app without our written permission.

7. Termination

You can close your account at any time in Settings → Delete account. All your data will be permanently deleted.

We can suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in abusive behavior, or pose a risk to other users or the integrity of the service. Unused pass time is not refunded upon termination for violations.

8. Safety and Background Checks

Blind Dating does not conduct criminal background checks on its users. We encourage all users to exercise personal safety and good judgment when interacting with people they meet through the app — both online and in person.

If you encounter a user who makes you feel unsafe, please use the in-app block and report tools or contact us at support@blinddating.app. We take all safety reports seriously.

For your personal safety, we recommend: meeting for the first time in public places, telling a friend or family member where you are going, and not sharing personal financial information with people you meet on the app.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Blind Dating is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties — express or implied — that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components. We do not guarantee that you will find a match or that any particular outcome will result from using the app.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Blind Dating and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of data, lost profits, or harm resulting from interactions with other users.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the app will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $10, whichever is greater).

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Blind Dating, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the app, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

12. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Informal Resolution First: Before initiating any formal legal action, you agree to contact us at support@blinddating.app and give us at least 30 days to attempt to resolve the issue informally. Most concerns can be resolved this way.

Binding Arbitration: If informal resolution fails, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the app shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), conducted in English. The arbitration will take place virtually or in a mutually agreed location. You and we both waive any right to a jury trial.

Class Action Waiver: You waive any right to bring or participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against us. All disputes must be brought in your individual capacity only — not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding.

Exceptions: Either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in court to prevent ongoing harm, including to protect intellectual property rights or prevent unauthorized data access.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll notify you via the app or by email before the new terms take effect. If you continue using the app after the changes take effect, you agree to the updated Terms. If you disagree with a change, you may close your account before the effective date.
